Well, I did it... still not sure it's money well-spent, but I suppose we'll see. In any case, I'm still going to be an = for the next 12 months.
I only have a few days left on my premium subscription to dA and I'm seriously debating on whether it's worth the $30 for another year.
Don't get me wrong. The site itself has done some really cool stuff technology-wise... but dA just ain't what it used to be community-wise. If I could find something else out there that made a good replacement, I'd probably just let it drop and move on... but for the life of me, I can't find anything that really does it for me.
Any words of wisdom?
My sub ran out a couple years ago, ever since they made thumbnail viewing in my inbox a non-premium feature, I just don't see much point in upgrading again. I've thought about it many times, but just can't justify it anymore.
Well, there are a few features I really like... no ads, formatted journals, stuff like that... If I spent more time here (like I used to) it would definitely be worth it. But the community I used to love the most about dA has just changed so much. Not exactly sure how to explain it... it just has...
