It's that inevitable uninspired period... the one that comes every year. Spring is a distant memory. Summer is long melted away. And Autumn's bright, cheery colors are now a crispy mess of crumbling leaf litter on the ground. Now it's just dull dreary colors and bitter winds... It's that time of year when inspiration flees me and leaves me yearning for something -- anything -- interesting to take photos of.
Of course, the worst thing is that I know there are plenty of things to photograph. It's not the subjects that have left me. It's my "muse" that is on sabbatical.
Hopefully she'll be back soon...
How do you pull yourself out of the Winter Doldrums?
I try going to the desert in the winter to find things to photograph. Anything to keep me from being cooped up indoors the whole winter.
